Poet : Jotsna Jari

Yes traveller, You don’t get tired
in the stream of violation of so many policies
Another new morning will come
Oh passerby, why is the tear glistening
in the corner of the eye
Your job is gone…
don’t worry
Once upon a time
there was no organized office
there was no corporate world
Then your great-grandfather’s father
used to live in the forest
Still the house was tidy
there was also pure life
Let go of what has gone
You return to the land
of carefree & green
Where the trees will give a breeze
to cool your body
the birds will sing
You don’t have to go to the gym
After hours of walking
you will reach the destination
I know it hurts you
to hear this
Hey wayfarer…
now rebel once
Again the country & society will be decorated
with the garland of principles
Now you scorch in protest
and say, we don’t want jobs…
we just want a mega serial
of some peace & happiness
💛
