Inside the feelings

‎As I searched for your letters
‎one one by one
‎the house was filled
‎with cactus and storms.
‎Inside the dot-by-dot scene
‎the wall appeared.
‎When the golden sun disappears
‎from the rice fields for a moment…
‎a single drop of salty water
‎stands before you
‎Then the chest aanchal was untidy
‎the eye’s kajol just a mess
‎The tip of forehead turned into kanchpoka
‎& crawling inside the chimney… crawling.
‎Suddenly, the sky was covered
‎in dark clouds
‎When I walk from dusk to evening…
‎from evening to the depths of the night… nothing remains within my feelings.

‎Notes :

‎1) Aanchal –
‎The loose end (or border) of Indian woman’s sari (or cloth).

‎2) Kajol –
‎The traditional eye cosmetic, typically made from soot or charcoal, used to enhance the eyes and create a smoky, dramatic look. Indian women use kajol
‎(or kohl).

‎3) Tip –
‎Tip is a coloured dot or, in modern times, a sticker worn on the centre of the forehead, originally by Hindus, Jains and Buddhists.
‎This is a bright dot of some colour applied in the centre of the forehead close to the eyebrows or in the middle of the forehead that is worn in the Indian subcontinent.

‎4) Kanchpoka –
‎This is a species of green beetle.
‎The wing of this greem beetle is used by Indian women to adom their foreheads.
