Today I will not tell you
about the garland of baichi flowers,
nor about Rajalakshmi
I will not say you
even though I don’t want to tell you…
there was a garland of baichi flowers
in your life, was a man like Srikanta ;
how many sins of people are there
in the translucent river of love today.
Hemlata, how much longer
will you wander from one place to another for the sake of your body…
The commotion will end
in the pyre or the grave.
Yet for this body and for death
there is another new body
deep within the mind.
