land on the balcony every night.
The mind struggles with the heart
still warmth remains hidden
in the intense sunshine of love.
A thin slice of brown-winged bird
plays on the roof.
The heat wave of Chaitra brings to mind another current called love.
I make fuss in bed with a restless sailor.
I merge deeply into his veins.
Doyel’s continuous singing in the thick darkness drives me crazy.
Another bird breaks apart
the silence for a sunrise.

Chiatra :
Chaitra is the first month of the Hindu lunar calendar, corresponding to March and April in the Gregorian calendar. It marks the beginning of spring and the Hindu New Year in many regions of India with festivals.
Doyel :
The doyel is a sweet bird. It is the national bird of Bangladesh . The doyel is found throughout the rural areas of Bangla.
