BENGALI RHYME VIDEO

Khatunia Jotsna

Rhyme, also spelled rime, the correspondence of two or more words with similar-sounding final syllables placed so as to echo one another. Rhyme is used by poets and occasionally by prose writers to produce sounds appealing to the reader’s senses and to unify and establish a poem’s stanzaic form. End rhyme (i.e., rhyme used at the end of a line to echo the end of another line) is most common, but internal, interior, or leonine rhyme is frequently used as an occasional embellishment in a poem—e.g., William Shakespeare’s “Hark; hark! the lark at heaven’s gate sings,” or as part of the regular rhyme scheme:

And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain
Thrilled me—filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating:
“Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door.”
(Edgar Allan Poe, “The Raven”)

There are three rhymes recognized by purists as “true rhymes”: masculine rhyme, in which the two words end with the same vowel–consonant combination (stand / land), feminine rhyme (sometimes called double rhyme), in which two syllables rhyme (profession / discretion), and trisyllabic rhyme, in which three syllables rhyme (patinate / latinate). The too-regular effect of masculine rhyme is sometimes softened by using trailing rhyme, or semirhyme, in which one of the two words trails an additional unstressed syllable behind it (trail / failure). Other types of rhyme include eye rhyme, in which syllables are identical in spelling but are pronounced differently (cough / slough), and pararhyme, first used systematically by the 20th-century poet Wilfred Owen, in which two syllables have different vowel sounds but identical penultimate and final consonantal groupings (grand / grind). Feminine pararhyme has two forms, one in which both vowel sounds differ, and one in which only one does (ran in / run on; blindness / blandness). Weakened, or unaccented, rhyme occurs when the relevant syllable of the rhyming word is unstressed (bend / frightened). Because of the way in which lack of stress affects the sound, a rhyme of this kind may often be regarded as consonance, which occurs when the two words are similar only in having identical final consonants (best / least).

Another form of near rhyme is assonance, in which only the vowel sounds are identical (grow / home). Assonance was regularly used in French poetry until the 13th century, when end rhyme overtook it in importance. It continues to be significant in the poetic technique of Romance languages but performs only a subsidiary function in English verse.

Many traditional poetic forms utilize set rhyme patterns—for example, the sonnet, villanelle, rondeau, ballade, chant royal, triolet, canzone, and sestina. Rhyme seems to have developed in Western poetry as a combination of earlier techniques of end consonance, end assonance, and alliteration. It is found only occasionally in classical Greek and Latin poetry but more frequently in medieval religious Latin verse and in songs, especially those of the Roman Catholic liturgy, from the 4th century. Although it has been periodically opposed by devotees of classical verse, it has never fallen into complete disuse. Shakespeare interspersed rhymed couplets into the blank verse of his dramas; Milton disapproved of rhyme, but Samuel Johnson favoured it. In the 20th century, although many advocates of free verse ignored rhyme, other poets continued to introduce new and complicated rhyme schemes.

Bengali rhyme is enough lucid. Our great poets enriched the rhymes in different forms & styles.

Poetry – Loneliness 🔼

Poet – Jotsna Jari

.
In the dream air
I have never lifted the sail of a boat
Mind is burned because of Loo
How many times I have lost
to faces and masks

Who are always shedding human
Again they try to cover it
by sprinkling salt
Whatever else the pleasent sound
of nice fountain can never flow
as melody to them

Believe me… the word faith
is the Fanus of being now
All is end…
before anyone understands anything.

The human mind is lost today
in the cover of small feelings
I am alone… you are alone
in the mindless civilization
All are being alone…
each loneliness has merged into one.

Music Videos  : Khatunia Jotsna 🌹

Indian music encompasses numerous genres in multiple varieties and forms which include classical music, folk, rock, and pop. It has a history spanning several millennia and developed over several geo-locations spanning the sub-continent. Music in India began as an integral part of socio-religious life.

Bengali music (Bengali: বাংলা সংগীত) comprises a long tradition of religious and secular song-writing over a period of almost a millennium. Composed with lyrics in the Bengali language, Bengali music spans a wide variety of styles.

The Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent is currently split between the Indian state of West Bengal and the country of Bangladesh. West Bengal is still referred to as Bengal in the rest of India.

[26/07, 9:55 am] +91 70471 02357: The earliest music in Bengal was influenced by Sanskrit chants, and evolved under the influence of Vaishnav poetry such as the 13th-century Gitagovindam by Jayadeva, whose work continues to be sung in many eastern Hindu temples. The Middle Ages saw a mixture of Hindu and Islamic trends when the musical tradition was formalized under the patronage of Sultan and Nawabs and the powerful landlords baro bhuiyans.

Much of the early canon is devotional, as in the Hindu devotional songs of Ramprasad Sen a bhakta who captures the Bengali ethos in his poetic, rustic, and ecstatic vision of the Hindu goddess of time and destruction in her motherly incarnation, Ma Kali. Another writer of the time was Vidyapati. Notable in this devotional poetry is an earthiness that does not distinguish between love in its carnal and devotional forms; some see connections between this and Tantra, which originated sometime in the middle of the first millennium CE.

Durga Puja Song 2023 🌹

Durga Puja also known as Durgotsava or Sharodotsav, is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess Durga and is also celebrated because of Durga’s victory over Mahishasura. It is celebrated all over the world by the Hindu community but it is particularly popular and traditionally celebrated in the Indian states of West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh (eastern parts) and the country of Bangladesh. The festival is observed in the Indian calendar month of Ashwin, which corresponds to September–October in the Gregorian calendar. Durga Puja is a ten-day festival, of which the last five are of the most significance. The puja is performed in homes and public, the latter featuring a temporary stage and structural decorations (known as pandals). The festival is also marked by scripture recitations, performance arts, revelry, gift-giving, family visits, feasting, and public processions.  Durga Puja is an important festival in the Shaktism tradition of Hinduism. Durga Puja in Kolkata has been inscribed on the Intangible cultural heritage list of UNESCO in December of 2021.

Durga Puja as a harvest festival :

Om you are rice [wheat…], Om you are life, you are the life of the gods, you are our life, your are our internal life, you are long life, you give life, Om the Sun with his rays (….)

Great India : Independence Day 🌹

15th August, 2023 ❤️

Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a public holiday in India commemorating the nation’s independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act, which transferred legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent Assembly, came into effect. India retained King George VI as head of state until its transition to a republic, when the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950 (celebrated as Indian Republic Day) and replaced the dominion prefix, Dominion of India, with the enactment of the sovereign law Constitution of India. India attained independence following the independence movement noted for largely non-violent resistance and civil disobedience.

Poetry: New Touch of 15 August

Poet: Jotsna Jari

.

deepest sorrow & deepest love

blossoms my heart.

I can’t say these words

only it’s poetic art.

💮

All my days of walking alone

Calling in the stream now

Will take care of…  where to go

Walking on the road to road.

🌼

In the night wrapped in stars

Morning and evening swing

Bird of the dawn has called

Door to happiness opens.

🌼

Gently pressed the hand

Rainbow colors come on

Again I’m floating

In a new horizon.

Happy Independence Day

Poesie – Einsamkeit 🔼

Dichter – Jotsna Jari

.

bevor irgendjemand etwas versteht.

Der menschliche Geist ist heute verloren
im Schutz kleiner Gefühle
Ich bin allein… du bist allein
in der geistlosen Zivilisation
Alle sind allein…
jede Einsamkeit ist zu einer verschmolzen.

Poesía – Soledad 🔼

Poeta – Jotsna Jari

.
Cuantas veces he perdido
a rostros y máscaras

Que siempre están perdiendo humanos
De nuevo tratan de taparlo.
rociando sal
Cualquier otra cosa el sonido agradable
de bonita fuente nunca puede fluir
como melodía para ellos

Créeme… la palabra fe
es el Fanus del ser ahora
Todo es fin…
antes de que nadie entienda nada.

La mente humana está perdida hoy.
en la cubierta de pequeños sentimientos
estoy solo… tu estas solo
en la civilización sin sentido
Todos estan solos…
cada soledad se ha fusionado en una.
